Meet The Certified Compassionate Doctor, Sameer Jejurikar

Good bedside manners go a long way when it comes to patients facing possible surgery, whether that surgery is necessary or a personal choice. Plastic surgery has dealt with a bad rap in the past, mostly due to poor practices and in the past, lack of safety procedures. Thankfully, the plastic surgery industry has come very far in the past decade, with more people searching for cosmetic options than ever before. Dr. Sameer Jejurikar is a board-certified plastic surgeon that upholds the highest standards in all aspects of his career as a plastic surgeon.

Dr. Sameer Jejurikar has considerable training behind him in academics and general practice. He studied at the University of Michigan Medical School as well as the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital before earning his certification to practice plastic surgery. Today, Sameer Jejurikar is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and the Dallas Society of Plastic Surgeons.

In the past decade, Sameer has proven himself as a dedicated plastic surgeon that constantly works to improve himself and the industry as a whole. As a member of the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute in Texas, Sameer provides a full range of cosmetic surgeries for his patients, including facelifts, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, and liposuction.

Sameer is also one of the few plastic surgeons to be given the Compassionate Doctor Certification through the recognition program set up by Patient’s Choice. To put the award into perspective, the United States has around one million or so active doctors, but on average only three percent of them are eligible to earn the Compassionate Doctor Award in any given year. The criteria are set by Patient’s Choice, and the decision comes after analyzing feedback from patients around the country.
